Det er med stor glæde og stolthed at vi kan præsentere Solodanser Holly Jean Dorger fra Det Kongelige Teater som ny ambassadør for Make-A-Wish Danmark. Holly Dorger har danset for Den Kongelige Ballet siden 2008 og blev udnævnt som Solist i 2013 og forfremmet til Solodanser i 2016.
Holly er oprindeligt fra USA, men har boet i Danmark siden 2008, og blev i 2016 tildelt ”Ridder af Dannebrogordenen” af Hendes Majestæt Dronning Margrethe II.
Holly udtaler:
”Jeg er meget beæret over at være ambassadør for Make-A-Wish Danmark. Jeg er selv en stor drømmer, og er overbevist om, hvilken stor indflydelse et ønske kan have på et barn. Jeg vil give tilbage på enhver måde jeg kan – fra at optræde og at øge opmærksomheden, til at hjælpe et barn, der drømmer om at være en ballerina. Lad os sprede lykke til dem i desperat behov for et smil og et knus! “

It is with great joy and pride that we can present Principal dancer Holly Jean Dorger from The Royal Theater as our new ambassador for Make-A-Wish Denmark. Holly Dorger has been dancing for The Royal Danish Ballet since 2008 and was promoted to soloist in 2013 and promoted to Principal Dancer in 2016.
Holly is originally from the United States, but has lived in Denmark since 2008, and was awarded in 2016 “Knight of the Dannebrogord” by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II. Holly says:
“I am very honored to be an ambassador for Make-A-Wish Denmark. I myself am a big dreamer and am convinced of the great influence a wish may have on a child. I will give back in every way I can – from dancing to raising awareness – to help a child who dreams of being a ballerina. Let’s spread happiness to those in desperate need of a smile and a hug! “
Holly will together with the Make-A-Wish Desire Fund’s other ambassadors, including Rasmus Seebach, Basim, Alexa Bruun Rasmussen, Stella’s Hospital Clown, etc. participate in the work of rejoicing the children and adolescents living with a life-threatening illness.
